John Lloyd Cruz, Bianca Umali, Jayson Gainza reenact ‘One More Chance’ 3-month rule scene on ‘Happy ToGetHer’

Missing Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz’s movie “One More Chance?” Then you should watch “Happy ToGetHer” this Saturday.

A teaser for the upcoming episode showed Mike (Jayson Gainza) introducing his “one and only” Issa (Bianca Umali) to his friends.

However, when their relationship took a 180-degree turn, Issa sought comfort from Mike’s friend Julian (John Lloyd).

“Anong gagawin ko kung hindi talaga kami para sa isa’t-isa?” Issa told Julian while crying.

Just as Issa was about to leave Julian’s house, Mike suddenly appeared and saw the two of them hugging. “Walang ibig sabihin ’to,” Julian immediately told Mike.

Mike then turned emotional as he delivered the iconic line from the 2007 film.

“Issa, hindi mo ba alam yung three-month rule? Lahat ng taong nai-in love at lahat ng taong nagbe-break up, alam ’yon. May three months pa ’ko. Hindi mo ba alam ’yon?” he said.

As seen on the 30-second teaser, John Lloyd and the other cast members couldn’t help but look away from the camera as they struggled not to laugh.

To refresh your memory, the “three-month rule” line was uttered by Popoy (John Lloyd) when Basha (Bea) introduced Mark (Derek Ramsay) to their friends after they broke up on “One More Chance.”
