Rain Matienzo 'confesses' to Atom Araullo in cute new TikTok video

Rain Matienzo just took the "Baby" TikTok trend to the next level.

After quietly fangirling over Atom Araullo from behind while mouthing the lyrics of the iconic Justin Bieber song, Rain posted a followup video on her account.

"Hinarap ko na, 'di ko na kaya mag-play it cool," she captioned, referencing to the lyrics.

Sure enough, this time, Rain is singing the lyrics straight to a flustered-looking Atom.

To recall, the verse goes: “Oh, for you, I would have done whatever and I just can’t believe we ain’t together. And I wanna play it cool, but I’m losin’ you.”

The video has garnered over 335,000 likes and 1.8 million views.

One particular comment caught Rain's eye and she made a new video reacting to it.

"Baka maging 25 21 ver. 2.0 ka," the netizen said, referring to the K-drama "Twenty Five Twenty One," which follows the love story of a fencer and a journalist who are five years apart in age.

Rain was evidently very kilig and wrote, "When he's older and a reporter."

"Eh hindi naman ako athlete so ok lang po," she added in her caption.

Rain's initial video with Atom has so far garnered over 621,000 likes and 4.1 million views.

Apart from Atom, Rain has long been open about having a crush on Kapuso actor Miguel Tanfelix.
