Heart Evangelista, Mr. M, Felipe Gozon among Esquire's 100 Most Powerful People in the Philippines

GMA chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon, Sparkle Artist consultant Johny "Mr. M" Manahan, and Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaboration Heart Evangelista made it to Esquire Philippines' list of 100 Most Powerful People in the Philippines.

The list was divided into three categories—Wielders of Soft Power, Titans of Industry, Media, Academia, and Government and Spiritual Leaders.

According to the online publication, the people included on its list have the "power" in authority, control, and influence.

Heart Evangelista was listed in the "Wielders of Soft Power" category. Esquire described her as a "global figure and leading social media personality" who has caught the attention of several high-fashion brands, including Louis Vuitton and Dior.

"A lifelong animal lover, Evangelista is also an entrepreneur, opening a luxury boutique resort in Boracay and most recently introducing her newest venture, beauty and wellness brand Pure Living," Esquire wrote.

Joining Heart in the "Wielders of Soft Power" category is Mr. M. He was recognized as "one of the country's preeminent talent scouts and developers" and known to be the man who helped build the show business careers of Bea Alonzo, Claudine Barretto, and Piolo Pascual, among others.

"Currently, he serves as a consultant for GMA's talent management arm Sparkle GMA Artist Center, helping hone and develop the careers of a new generation of entertainment personalities," Esquire wrote.

Meanwhile, Felipe Gozon was among the personalities under the "Titans of Industry, Media, Academia." He is the chairman and CEO of the country's leading broadcast network, GMA.

"It is Gozon who has steered the company since the early 2000s and turned it into the powerful and profitable media giant that it is today," Esquire said.

Congratulations!
