In a video posted on Sparkle’s Instagram page, the “Maria Clara at Ibarra” star advised, “Kilalanin mo muna yung tao and choose wisely.”
"Whether this is a friend or a lover, kilalanin mo muna nang mabuti," he added.
Clarifying that one doesn’t have to play hard to get, the actor and businessman said, “Wag ka bibigay kaagad.”
“Kilalanin mo nang mabuting mabuti kasi syempre, ayaw natin magsayang ng oras," he added. “Nakaka-influence din kasi yung mga kasama at this point in time sa personality mo. So ayaw naman natin ng any negativity.”
In “Maria Clara at Ibarra,” David plays Fidel, who netizens call the Sinaunang Red Flag, due to his sexist and classist opinions. But despite that, his tandem with Barbie Forteza’s Klay also has a loyal following because of their characters’ clashing personalities.
