Even Juancho Triviño had a hard time filming the assault scene in 'Maria Clara at Ibarra'

The latest episode of “Maria Clara at Ibarra” was a very heavy one.

Padre Salvi (Juancho Triviño) acts upon his toxic lust and obsession for Maria Clara (Julie Anne San Jose) in the monastery.

The strong Maria continues to stand up for herself and tells the evil priest that no means no. However, that did not stop Salvi. He forces himself onto Maria Clara despite her cries for help and for Salvi to stop.

Thankfully, Maria is then saved and comforted by Klay (Barbie Forteza) and their other friends who all beat Salvi.

On Twitter, Juancho warned his followers ahead of the episode that, “Matindi po ang episode mamaya.”

Afterwards, he reposted some behind-the-scenes photos of him and Julie rehearsing the scene, and said that it was the “hardest scene I have ever done in MY ENTIRE LIFE.”

The two actors were lauded by fans for their effective acting skills in the intense scene.

Juancho also expressed his appreciation for Julie.

“Take a bow, friend. @myjaps Napaka hirap ng eksenang yun, salamat sa tiwala at de calidad na pag bato ng bawat linya at emosyon.. Muchas Gracias Maria,” he wrote.
