David Licauco thanks fans for letters, gifts: 'It means a lot to me'

David Licauco is nothing but grateful for all the love he's been receiving from fans.

The "Maria Clara at Ibarra" star took to Facebook to say he's had the chance to go through the gifts he received.

"Reading all the letters, I never had that before," he said. "Handwritten stuff takes a lot of effort, it means a lot to me.

"Also, the thoughtful gifts I have received, very much appreciated," he added. "ILY all!"

The hit "Maria Clara at Ibarra," which is based on Dr. Jose Rizal's novels "Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo," is set to end on Friday, February 24.

Fans can still look forward to David and Barbie Forteza, dubbed the love team FiLay, teaming up for an episode of "Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko."
