Michael V. shares story behind photo with Francis M. and Kitchie Nadal: 'This happened thanks to Kiko himself'

Today is Francis M.'s 14th death anniversary and on Instagram, his friend Michael V. paid tribute to the Master Rapper of the Philippines.

Posting a photo with Francis M., and Kitchie Nadal, the Kapuso Comedy Genius recalled specific details of when the photo was taken. "This happened at one point in our lives thanks to Kiko himself," Michael V. began.

"Alam n’ya how I loved Kitchie’s music (check out my parody) kaya nu’ng nag-produce s’ya ng show sa Klownz, he called me up and invited me to watch her live and meet her backstage," he continued.

"I’ll never forget that day. Same way I’ll never forget our friendship. Maraming salamat brod," Michael V., ended note.

Francis M. succumbed to multiple organ failure "secondary to severe sepsis and secondary to pneumonia" on March 6, 2009. He was 44 years old.

Elsewhere on Instagram, his widow Pia Magalona shared a photo of their family visiting his grave and wrote, "Fourteen. Bless the man if his heart and his land are one. Three Stars & a Sun."
