Ruru Madrid denies Bianca Umali almost ran him over in 2019 parking lot incident

By GMA Integrated News

Ruru Madrid categorically denied that Bianca Umali almost ran him over during an incident in a mall parking lot back in 2019.

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the Kapuso Action-Drama Prince opened up on what happened after Bianca admitted that it was over jealousy.

Ruru confessed that before meeting Bianca, he felt that his ego was boosted when he dated beauty queens or famous actresses.

"Nung time na 'yun, somehow medyo nangangapa pa ako dahil siguro first time kong maging seryoso when it comes to relationship, parang siguro somehow sa sarili ko parang sinubukan ko na kaya ko pa rin ba?" he said.

"Kaya ko pa rin bang kumausap ng ibang babae or kaya ko pa rin bang manligaw again?"

Ruru did not name names, but the incident at the parking lot happened after the premiere of his film "Cara x Jagger" with Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

According to a PEP.ph report

, Bianca got jealous of Jasmine and pushed Ruru away from her car when he ran after her. She then drove away.

"Pero muntik ka ba talaga masagasaan?" Tito Boy asked Ruru, who answered no.

Bianca previously said that reported accounts of the incident were exaggerated. She also revealed that she and Ruru broke up for eight months after what happened.

Asked about what he learned from it, Ruru said, "Nakita ko 'yung worth ni Bianca."

The actor said that it was when Bianca was no longer by his side that he realized that he could not be without her, so he did everything he could to win her back.

"Kasi alam ko sa sarili ko na pag kasama ko siya, I'm at my best. 'Pag hindi ko siya kasama, parang pakiramdam ko I'm lost," he said. "Siya 'yung nagbibigay ng liwanag, ng daan sa akin, pero nasaktan ko 'yung babaeng 'yun."

"So sinabi ko sa sarili ko kahit na eight months ako na nanligaw sa kanya ulit, hindi ako mapapagod na sabihin sa kanya kung gaano ko siya kamahal at kung gaano siya ka-importante sa akin."

Ruru and Bianca announced their relationship to the public last year. They are starring in their first project together in the upcoming series "The Write One."
