By GMA Integrated News

Did you know that Romnick Sarmenta is now a college lecturer?

The 51-year-old actor is teaching at the Trinity University of Asia, where he is an invited lecturer at the Media and Communication Department of the College of Arts, Sciences and Education.

He handles courses on Writing Dramatic Materials for Broadcast Industry and the Emerging Media and Behavioral and Social Change Communication.

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the King of Talk asked Romnick if there had been an instance when a student had a crush on him.

"What's funny is that most of my students say: Sir, puwede ba akong magpa-selfie kasi crush ka ng nanay ko," Romnick said.

"So mas feeling ko na safe ako dahil 'yung nanay nila ang may crush sa akin," he added, chuckling.

Romnick is one of the popular matinee idols of the 1980s. He was in a popular love team with Sheryl Cruz.
