Alden plays Lance Sandoval, a happy-go-lucky dude, opposite Julia Montes' career-driven Justine.
In the scene, Lance and Justine are having an argument poolside. Justine is upset that Lance is drunk. Lance meanwhile denies he is inebriated.
It becomes evident the argument has long been brewing between the two, as Justine accuses Lance of having "just fâ that woman" and boy oh boy the tension between the two is as palpable as daylight.
Alden's Lance is relaxed and steadfast and holds steady against Julia's aggressive Justine.
It's a short but powerful scene, all 40 seconds long, and already we want more.
The scenedrop follows Antonette Jadaone's sneak peek of Alden and Julia's hot kissing scene.
Written and directed by Irene Villamayor, "Five Breakups and a Movie" first made entertainments headlines last April when news broke that Julia and Alden will headline their first film together.
