Miguel Tanfelix receives warm welcome from 'Running Man Philippines' cast in South Korea

It may be winter in South Korea, but Miguel Tanfelix received a warm welcome from the OG runners of "Running Man Philippines!"

On Instagram, Tuesday, the Sparkle actor posted several group photos together with Mikael Daez, Glaiza De Castro, Buboy Villar, Lexi Gonzales, Kokoy De Santos, and Angel Guardian.

In one photo, the runners can be seen on a table with some food and drinks. Another snap showed them looking at the sea with their name tags attached on their backs.

"Oh man, the start of the year's gonna be intense, exciting and fun with these people," Miguel wrote in the caption.

Miguel was introduced as the newest runner shortly after Ruru Madrid

announced that he will miss the show's second season. The "Black Rider" star, however, will still have a special participation in Season 2.

"Running Man Philippines" is the local adaptation of the longest-running South Korean reality game show, "Running Man." It is a co-production between GMA Network and SBS Korea.

Angel was hailed as the ultimate runner in Season 1, which aired in 2022.
