Dingdong Dantes on FAMAS award with Marian Rivera: 'Bigay ni Lods'

Dingdong Dantes is thankful for another recognition with his wife Marian Rivera for their film "Rewind

The couple is set to receive the Bida sa Takilya Award at the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards 2024 for their blockbuster film at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023.

In Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the Kapuso actor, who previously won the Best Actor award at the inaugural Manila International Film Festival for his role in the film, expressed his gratitude for the award.

"Salamat, salamat sa FAMAS sa pagkilalang ito. Lahat naman nito, lahat ng mga nangyayari, lalo na du'n sa pelikulang 'Rewind' eh lahat iyon ay ika nga, bigay ni Lods," Dingdong said.

Marian and Dingdong are now working on their next movies.

Dingdong will star in "Love After Love," while Marian will star in this year's Cinemalaya entry, "Balota

"Excited na excited siya dito sa pelikulang ito dahil nandu'n na rin siya sa punto ng kaniyang buhay na gusto rin niyang gumawa ng mga edgy, mga challenging, at makabuluhang mga proyekto," Dingdong said.

DongYan's "Rewind" has become the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time. It is currently available on Netflix.

Marian and Dingdong got married in 2014. They have two children, Zia and Sixto.
