Miss Universe first runner-up Janine Tugonon back in PHL

Miss Philippines Janine Tugonon, the first runner-up in the Miss Universe beauty pageant in Las Vegas earlier this week, arrived home to a warm welcome from fellow Filipinos on Saturday. Tugonon arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport aboard a PR-107 Philippine Airlines flight early Saturday morning, radio dzBB reported. Her boyfriend was among those who welcomed her home, the report said. Last Thursday (Manila time), Tugonon became a source of pride for the Philippines when she finished runner-up to Miss USA Olivia Culpo. Tugonon got applause for her answer to the question, "Do you believe that speaking English should be prerequisite for Miss Universe 2012?"
