Alternative rock band na 'Linkin Park,' darating sa bansa sa Agosto

Nakatakdang dumating sa bansa sa Agosto ang Grammy-Award-winner at multi-platinum alternative rock band na "Linkin Park" para sa isang concert na gaganapin sa Mall of Asia Arena.   Ang one-night only concert sa bansa ng banda sa Agosto 13 ay bahagi ng kanilang “Linkin Park: Living Things World Tour.”   Ang Linkin Park ay binubuo nina Chester Bennington, Rob Bourdon, Brad Delson, Dave 'Phoenix' Farrell, Joe Hahn at MikeShinoda. "Coinciding with the concert, LIVING THINGS is a personal album, centered on human emotions and relationships implied by the title. It is informed by and built upon all previous Linkin Park albums, while still pushing the band’s sound into new territory," ayon pahayag na inilabas ng Scala Events . "It’s spirited, energetic, daring and unafraid to hybridize the past, present and future. It’s absolute proof to a radical theory six musicians have devoted their lives to testing," dagdag pa nito. Noong 2005, itinatag ng Linkin Park ang Music for Relief,  isang non-profit organization na naglalayong tumulong sa mga biktima ng kalamidad at paghahanda upang makaiwas sa trahedya. "Since its inception, Music for Relief has raised over 5 million dollars for victims of multiple disasters across four continents. The organization was recently recognized by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon for the Download to Donate program to raise funds and awareness in the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake. In recognition of its humanitarian work, Linkin Park received a Global Leadership Award from the United Nations Foundation," nakasaad pa sa pahayag. Sinabi sa pahayag na $1 sa bawat mabibiling ticket sa concert at mapupunta sa Music for Relief.
