Ryza Cenon is young, in charge, a real survivor

We know her as the StarStruck Season 2 Ultimate Female Survivor. But Ryza Cenon is a survivor in real life as well. This teen actress has proven that she can do it all and still be true to herself. In the new GMA series, Fantastic Man, audiences will see a more mature Ryza. She is slowly leaving behind the teenybopper that first came to the spotlight through StarStruck. But, who is the real Ryza now? Has she changed much since those younger years? She answers frankly, “Makulit lang tapos minsan tahimik. May sariling mundo. Kailangan masaya ka, wala kang problema ganoon, pero deep inside umiiyak ka na." stars Long Distance Dad Ryza Cenon grew up with her grandmother after losing her mother at the young age of 3. Her father works in Abu Dhabi, UAE so she is very thankful for the hi-tech wonders of the internet that keep them. She actually has an older brother but circumstances have made them drift apart as well. The last time she saw her father was during the Final Judgment of StarStruck Season 2. That was over three years ago! But Ryza is looking forward to seeing her dad sometime this April. They have tentative plans for a trip to Hong Kong, a perfect opportunity to bond as a family. Living on Her Own Ryza takes pride in the fact that she is providing for herself and her grandmother. She has already acquired her own car. Her next goal is a dream house. After the lights of showbiz have gone out, Ryza already has a plan. She admits that it is not easy but she is slowly learning. She further shares with a wisdom that goes beyond her 19 years that “mahirap maghandle kung ikaw lang talaga pero, at least, natututo ko. When the going gets tough, she keeps one thing in mind. “My mom guides me kasi alam niyang kakayanin ko, lagi kong iniisip na naandito siya binabantayan niya ko." Though she is on her own, Ryza believes that she is never really alone. - iGMA.tv
