Detained Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. was able to have the chance to be alone with his son, Cavite Vice Gov. Jolo Revilla, who is currently confined after sustaining a gunshot wound on his chest Saturday night.

In a phone interview with GMA News' Unang Balita on Wednesday, the Revillas' manager, Lolit Solis, said: "Sorry siya (Jolo) nang sorry. Nag-uusap silang magtatay, iniwan namin sa loob. Baka sinabi niya talaga kung ano'ng nangyari."

Solis said the younger Revilla, who is turning 27 on March 15, cried like a child upon seeing his father.

"Si Jolo magtu-27 na ngayong March 15, pero nu'ng makita na 'yung tatay niya, umiyak siya na parang bata. [Paulit-ulit na], 'Papa, sorry. Papa, sorry,'" she said.

Sen. Revilla, who is currently detained at the PNP Custodial Center for graft and plunder charges, was allowed by the Sandiganbayan First Division to visit his son with a five-hour forlough on Tuesday, between 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

During the interview, Solis disclosed that the younger Revilla was supposed to go through another CT scan on Tuesday night after observations that his stomach was bloated.

His father asked to stay for the procedure, but the doctors decided to move it to Wednesday morning.

"Nag-request nga si Bong kung pwedeng nandoon siya sa CT scan, pero sabi ng doktor, ngayong umaga na gawin 'yung CT scan para makita 'yung development ng paglaki ng tiyan ni Jolo, kasi baka daw may mga napu-push na organ inside, tapos 'yung right lung niya -- dahil nagkakaroon ng tubig -- natatakot sila na baka raw may butas or something," she said.

On Tuesday, lawyer Raymund Fortun, a spokesman for the Revilla Family, said the vice governor is "deteriorating," with hematoma in his right lung and also showing signs of pneumonia.

Fortun said doctors also observed after a second computerized tomography scan that Revilla had a dispended abdomen that wasn't seen before.

“'Yung possible na problems now developing sa abdominal region, na medyo bumaliktad yung pusod niya,” he said.

Revilla was transferred to a regular room from the ICU at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa City. — Rose-An Jessica Dioquino/RSJ, GMA News
