'Please do it on TV': Rey Pamaran rejects Melissa Mendez's Instagram apology

Hindi tinanggap ni Rey Pamaran ang ginawang "public apology" ng aktres na si Melissa Mendez sa pamamagitan ng social media account ngayong Martes, March 24.

 

Dahil dito, itutuloy pa rin ni Rey ang kanyang planong idemanda si Melissa.

 

Nauna nang nagsulat si Rey ng open letter kay Melissa noong Linggo, March 22, at sinabi nitong hindi siya magdedemanda sa kundisyong sasabihin ng beteranang aktres ang buong katotohanan at kung magbibigay ito ng apology.

 

Gayunpaman, base sa Facebook post ni Rey, tila hindi ito natuwa sa ginawang public apology ni Melissa sa kanyang Instagram account.

 

Simula ni Rey sa kanyang post, "Reading the response of the supposedly 'public apology' of Ms. Mendez, I immediately made up my mind to pursue my cases against her.

 

"I was hoping for a more heartfelt reply, where she would not only apologize but also own up to the lies that she said on TV to defend herself while destroying my reputation."

 

Ngunit ayon kay Rey, bibigyan niya ng isa pang pagkakataon si Melissa sa diwa na rin ng papalapit na Semana Santa.

 

"I am giving Ms. Mendez one more chance to clear EVERYTHING IN DETAIL, including all the lies that she said about the incident.

 

"My lawyer, Atty. Fortun, will be filing the cases tomorrow so I guess that's about the time that she has left.

 

Dugtong pa ni Rey, "I think this is not too much to ask.

 

"And please do it on TV, because that is where you destroyed my name.

 

"Making statements thru social media just adds insult to injury." —PEP
