'Meant To Be' boys like sons to Manilyn Reynes

The leading men of the television series "Meant To Be" are like sons to co-star Manilyn Reynes.

Despite not having worked with all of them, Manilyn on Thursday said that they made an impression on her.

"'Yung tatlo sa kanila hindi ko gaanong nakakatrabaho pa. 'Yung kay Ken [Chan] given na kasi matagal na kami magkasama," Manilyn said after renewing her contract with GMA Network

.

Manilyn has previously worked with Ken Chan in the series "Destiny Rose."

The other leading men in "Meant To Be" are Jak Roberto, Ivan Dorschner, and Addy Raj.

Manilyn said that their attitude towards her has endeared them to her.

"Nakakaaliw, lahat sila super nice to me. Ikaw naman na nanay, anak mo na rin, 'di ba?" Manilyn said.

She spoke highly of the boys' characters, saying they had sweet personalities.

"Sa totoong buhay...lahat sila endearing. Lahat sila talagang mado-draw ka. At sweet ang mga bata," she said.

The 45-year-old actress also said that Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza was like a daughter to her both on- and off-screen.

She said that they had similar mannerisms and reactions, surprising them both.

"Sabi namin, 'Ha mag-ina ba tayo?'," Manilyn said.

Barbie plays the role of Billie, the daughter of Mamay, played by Manilyn. —KG, GMA News
