Alden Richards 'excited' to go back to filming, says he's physically and mentally prepared

Good news, mga Kapuso: Alden Richards is set to star in a new show on GMA-7 this September.

In a recent interview over Zoom, Asia's Multimedia Star shared that he was excited to go back to filming.

"Maganda 'yung material, I've read the script already, and nakaka-miss lang ding bumalik sa acting after almost six months," Alden said.

Alden also shared how he prepared himself — physically and mentally — for his big return to set.

"S'yempre, hindi ko pa rin pinabayaan ang health ko. Exercise, vitamins pa rin..." Alden said.

"Mentally, kagaya nung mindset ko before: Hindi ko hahayaang idikta ni pandemic kung paano ako mabubuhay everyday. Hindi ko siya hahayaan yung sarili kong matakot," he added.

Nevertheless, it was shared in the Zoom conference that everybody involved in the production will undergo swab testing. The team is also committed to following strict safety protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alden, for one, was excited for Kapuso viewers to see what they were working on.

"This is an effort of GMA to produce new content for the viewers for the Kapusos natin na nanonood at sumusuporta sa network," he shared. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
