Filipina 'X-Factor UK' contestant Alisah Bonaobra wows judges with high notes and a rap song
Filipino "X-Factor UK" contestant Alisah Bonaobra wowed the judges when she belted notes and rapped Jessie J's hit single "Bang Bang" for the 6-chair challenge.
For the individual performances she sang her own version of Celine Dion's "All By Myself."
It was a tough decision for her mentor, "X-Factor UK" judge Sharon Osbourne, who decided to give the spot to Grace.
But the crowd's opposed Sharon's decision, forcing Mrs. Osbourne to ask Alisah back on stage and battle it out through a sing-off with two other contenders Scarlet Lee and Rai-Elle Williams.
“I am so sorry to make you do this. But what do I do when there’s so much talent here and the audience, I have to listen to the audience. No matter what, I have two chairs and three girls. I want you to do a sing off for me. You are all talented. Don’t forget that,” Sharon said.
When it was her turn to shine on stage, the Filipina singer belted out her best voice. She drew loud cheers and a standing ovation from the crowd and when she sang "Bang Bang" in high notes, even judge Nicole Scherzinger couldn't help but stand-up and dance with the beat while Alisah rapped through the song.
Alisah and Rai-Elle earned a seat on the 6-chair challenge with their impromptu a capella sing-off.
