Fil-Am actor Darren Criss just won at the Golden Globes! Congratulations!
Darren took home the Award for Best Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for his work in “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.”

He played Andrew Cunanan, the killer of the famed fashion designer.
“To be nominated is just insane,” Darren said on Instagram when nominees were announced in December. “What an honor to be included with such wonderful actors. Wow. Thank you,” he added.
In his speech, Darren mentioned representation in Hollywood and dedicated his win to his Cebuana mom.
"As we’ve seen, this has been a marvelous year for representation in Hollywood, and I am so enormously proud to be a teeny, tiny part of that as the son of a firecracker Filipino woman from Cebu that dreamed of coming to this country and getting to be invited to cool parties like this. Mom, I know you’re watching this. You are hugely responsible for most of the good things in my life. I love you dearly. I dedicate this to you,” Darren said.
