Lea Michele accused by former 'Glee' co-stars of racism, bullying

Lea Michele has found herself in the middle of a controversy after former "Glee" co-star Samantha Ware publicly accused her of making the show "a living hell" for her.

The Broadway singer and actress had expressed her support for the Black Lives Matter movement following the death of George Floyd on Twitter.

But her tweet did not settle well with Ware as she retweeted the post and claimed that Michele had subjected her to "traumatic microagressions," including telling other people that she would defecate in her wig, had she the opportunity.

In all caps, Ware wrote, "Remember when you made my first television gig a living hell?!?! Cause I'll never forget. I believe you told everyone that if you had the opportunity you would 'shit in my wig!' among other traumatic microaggressions that made me question a career in Hollywood."

Alex Newell, who guested on the show, retweeted Ware's tweet with a GIF saying "Get her, Jade!"

Dabier Snell, another actor who starred on "Glee," claimed Michele did not let him sit at the table with other cast members.

Retweeting Michele's post, he said, "Girl you wouldn't let me sit at the table with the other cast members cause 'I didn't belong there' f*ck you Lea."

"I try to bring good vibes and create content for people to laugh and enjoy! Seeing her message brought back bad memories of being less than on set of Glee. Ain't going stand for her being fake like she care," he added.

Amber Riley, who played Mercedes Jones, also had a (not) subtle reaction to the drama.

She posted some GIFs of herself, one of which shows her drinking a hot drink (perhaps tea?) from a mug.

Netizens also brought back Michele's rumored feud with Naya Rivera, which allegedly caused them to ignore each other for the entire series.

Ware, Newell, Snell, and Riley are all black actors, while Rivera is also of African American descent.

Following the barrage of accusations, a brand that had partnered with Michele made the decision to drop the actress.

"HelloFresh does not condone racism nor discrimination of any kind. We are disheartened and disappointed to learn of the recent claims concerning Lea Michele. We take this very seriously, and have ended our partnership with Lea Michele, effective immediately," it said in a Twitter post.

Michele, currently pregnant with her first child, has not responded to the accusations.

She starred in Ryan Murphy's "Glee" as the female lead, Rachel Berry.
