Michael B. Jordan to ‘Black Panther’ costar Chadwick Boseman: ‘I wish we had more time’

Michael B. Jordan, who portrayed Killmonger on “Black Panther,” just posted a touching tribute to Chadwick Boseman who died of colon cancer on Aug. 28.

The American actor shared a black and white photo with his costar and penned a long, emotional caption about how he wished they “had more time.”

“I’ve been trying to find the words, but nothing comes close to how I feel,” Jordan began.

“I’ve been reflecting on every moment, every conversation, every laugh, every disagreement, every hug … everything. I wish we had more time,”  he added.

Jordan recalled his last moments with Boseman, and said he would “dedicate the rest of my days to live the way you did.”

The actor also praised Boseman for his kindness and all he represented to everyone who looked up to the Black Panther as a hero.

“Through it all, you never lost sight of what you loved most. You cared about your family , your friends, your craft, your spirit. You cared about the kids, the community, our culture and humanity. You cared about me. You are my big brother, but I never fully got a chance to tell you, or to truly give you your flowers while you were here. I wish we had more time,” Jordan wrote.

“I’m more aware now than ever that time is short with people we love and admire. I’m gonna miss your honesty, your generosity, your sense of humor, and incredible gifts. I’ll miss the gift of sharing space with you in scenes,” he added.

“I’m dedicating the rest of my days to live the way you did. With grace, courage, and no regrets. ‘Is this your king!?’ Yes . he . is!  Rest In Power Brother.”

Jordan joins Marvel fans all over the world in mourning the death of the beloved actor.

“Black Panther” filmmaker Ryan Coogler also posted a tribute to Boseman, along with his  Avengers costars including Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Angela Bassett, who shared tributes earlier this week. – Margaret Claire Layug/RC, GMA News
