Taylor Swift performs ‘Betty’ live for the first time at ACM Awards

Taylor Swift took to the Academy Country Music Awards stage to perform “Betty” live for the first time.

“Betty” is part of Taylor’s surprise album “Folklore” and the performance is her debut for the song as she returns to ACM Awards after seven years.

Taylor sang the song clad in khaki pants and a shiny sequined red turtleneck while she played the guitar.

According to Rolling Stones, during her performance there was one notable edit. In the album version of “Betty,” she sings, “if I just showed up at your party…would you tell me to go f*ck myself?” At the ACMs, she changed it to “tell me to go straight to hell.”

According to the report, the ACM Awards is held at Nashville Grand Ole Opry House for the first time in its 55-year history due to the pandemic.
