TWICE's Jeongyeon to take a break from activities due to anxiety

TWICE member Jeongyeon is taking a break from future activities due to health reasons.

In a statement posted October 17, JYP Entertainment said Jeongyeon has been experiencing "psychological anxiety" and is in need of sufficient rest and medical attention.

“After deep discussions with Jeongyeon herself and other TWICE members, we have decided that it is needed for Jeongyeon to have sufficient rest and absolute stability, accompanied by professional medical measures,” the statement, as translated by Soompi

In light of the situation, JYP Entertainment informed fans that Jeongyeon will not be participating in the group’s promotional activities for TWICE’s upcoming comeback album "Eyes Wide Open."

The agency also thanked fans for the support and asked them to pray for Jeongyeon’s full recovery.

The South Korean girl group is set to drop "Eyes Wide Open" on October 26. —JCB, GMA News
