Vanessa Bryant expresses dismay over Kobe lyric in Meek Mill’s song

Vanessa Bryant took to Instagram to express her dismay over a line from rapper Meek Mill’s song that references her late husband Kobe Bryant.

“If I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper. It be another Kobe,” goes a line off Meek Mill's “Don’t Worry (RIP Kobe),” which is unreleased but has been leaked online.

According to a TMZ report

, Vanessa tagged the Philadelphian rapper and called him out for being careless.

"I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period," Vanessa wrote.

"I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there's a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact,” she continued.

On Twitter, Meek Mill shared how he's already apologized to Vanessa for it.

“I apologized to her in private earlier today not to the public...Nothing I say on my page directed to a internet viral moment or the family of a grieving woman!” He wrote.
