How BTS reacted to getting nominated for another Grammy

BTS just made another big achievement in the form of a second Grammy nomination, and it looks like the group is very much hyped about it.

A video posted on BTS's YouTube channel BANGTANTV showed that the members were actually at rehearsals at The Late Late Show With James Corden studio when the announcement rolled in.

RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook gathered on a couch to watch the program, and when BTS was announced under the Best Pop/Duo Group Performance category, they burst into cheers.

Corden's staff gave them some congratulatory champagne to celebrate the occasion.

"We have another chance," Jin said, referring to the fact that this is their second time being nominated under the same category.

BTS's hit song "Dynamite" was nominated Best Pop/Duo Group Performance last year, but lost to Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande's "Rain On Me.”

This time, they're nominated for their chart-topping single “Butter.”

"We really want to win it this time," Jimin said.

The group also had something to say about going up against Coldplay, who was nominated for their song "Higher Power."

BTS and Coldplay recently collaborated for the song "My Universe."

"Hey Chris, we're rivals right now," RM said teasingly.

"Yesterday's friend is today's rival," Jimin added.

The group then thanked their fans, the ARMY, for making the feat possible.

Aside from "Higher Power” by Coldplay, BTS is up against “I Get a Kick Out of You” by Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, “Kiss Me More” by Doja Cat and SZA and “Lonely” by Justin Bieber and Benny Blanco.

BTS remains the only South Korean act to be nominated for a Grammy in the pop categories.
