Key of SHINee is in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19

SHINee member Key is currently in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19.

According to a Soompi report Wednesday, SM Entertainment said Key experienced symptoms which led him to undergo self- and PCR testing.

“Key experienced abnormal health conditions on March 1 and used a self-testing kit. After testing positive, he immediately underwent PCR testing and was ultimately diagnosed with COVID-19 this morning,” said the agency’s statement.

The agency also said the singer had completed two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. He has halted all his scheduled activities and is receiving treatment while being isolated.

“We will thoroughly comply with the guidelines and consider the health and safety of our artists a top priority. We will do our best so that Key can’ concentrate on treatment and recovery,” it said.
