Olivia Rodrigo says she's 'so proud' to be part of the Filipino community

Filipino-American singer Olivia Rodrigo only love for her roots.

In an interview on Good Morning America, the "Driver's License" singer said that "it's amazing" that she also gets to represent Pinoys as she shoots towards stardom.

"I feel so proud to be a part of the Filipino community," she said. "They have been so lovely and are so welcoming and supportive of me."

Olivia made waves in the music industry with her debut album "SOUR," which includes hits like "Traitor," "Good 4 U," and "Deja Vu."

In February, Billboard named her their 2022 Woman of the Year.

The 18-year-old Olivia also earned seven nominations for this year's Grammy Awards, including record of the year, album of the year, and song of the year. —JCB, GMA News
