Red Velvet’s Seulgi to release solo debut!

Yup, you heard that right Red Velvet's Seulgi is about to drop her solo debut.

According to Soompi

, a representative from SM Entertainment confirmed earlier reports saying, “Seulgi is preparing for her first solo album with the aim of an October release. Please show lots of interest.”

No sweat, as Seulgi is currently trending on Philippine Twitter all through Tuesday morning. As of writing, #SeulgiSolo has amassed more than 25K excited tweets.  

Seulgi's solo debut follows a string of, well, non-Red Velvet releases including 2020's mini album "Monster" with Irene — Red Velvet’s first sub-unit — and 2019's “Always” for “The Crowned Clown” OST.

Seulgi debuted with Red Velvet in 2014. The K-pop girl group has just released their comeback “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm” in March. — LA, GMA News
