'Harry & Meghan' Netflix documentary trailer already has 3M views on Twitter in less than 24 hours

Netflix dropped the trailer for the much-awaited documentary on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle late Thursday night and on Twitter, it's already gone beyond a million views.

As of writing in fact, it's already at 3M views.

The trailer is just under a minute long but boy did it hit all the right notes, with exceptional soundbites and never-before-seen photos.

"Harry & Meghan. A Netflix Global Event. Coming soon, only on Netflix," the streaming service simply wrote.

It begins with a soundbite: "Why did you want to make this documentary?" Someone asks the couple.

What follows is a string of black and white photos of the couple until viewers hear the Prince say "no one sees what's happening behind closed doors."

The trailer ends with his wife, Meghan, asking: "When the stakes are this high, doesn't it make sense to hear our story from us?"

While Netflix has not given an official release date to the six-part documentary, media have widely reported it will air on Dec. 8.

It's been reported meanwhile that Prince Harry will release a memoir in January 2023.
