NBA: League suspends Kings rookie Robinson two games for elbow
The NBA has suspended Sacramento Kings rookie power forward Thomas Robinson for two games, Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vic President Basketball Operations announced Thursday (Friday, PHL time) in an official release. Robinson threw an elbow at the neck of Detroit Pistons forward Jonas Jerebko during the Kings' game Wednesday (Thursday, PHL time) in Sacramento, at the ten-minute mark of the fourth quarter. He was slapped with a Flagrant Foul Two and got ejected from the game. The product of the University of Kansas was the fifth overall pick in the 2012 draft and through five games, has averages of 4.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 13 minutes of action. He will serve his suspension during games against the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers. - AMD, GMA News
