2013 FIBA Asia Championship: Castro earns mythical five nod, Haddadi crowned MVP

Gilas Pilipinas guard Jayson Castro was named to the 2013 FIBA Asia Championship Mythical Five at the awarding ceremonies, following Iran's 85-71 finals win against the host team on Sunday at the MOA Arena.

Castro, from the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters in the PBA, normed 11.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 20 minutes of action.
Also named to the tourney's best five were Korea's Kim Mingoo (9.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists), Chinese Taipei's Lin Chih-Chieh (13.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 5.4 assists), and two players from championship side Iran, namely Oshin Sahakian (7.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists) and center Hamed Haddadi (17.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, 0.5 assists)
The 7'2" center Haddadi also earned the Most Valuable Player award. - RAF/AMD, GMA News
