PBA: Purefoods acquires Mick Pennisi from Barako Bull

The Purefoods Star Hotshots beefed up their frontcourt in preparation for the Philippine Cup playoff wars after acquiring veteran center Mick Pennisi from Barako Bull.

 

On Monday, the PBA approved the deal that would send Pennisi to Purefoods in exchange for little-used big men Isaac Holstein and Ronnie Matias.

 

Curiously, the teams will face off on Tuesday in what would be their last assignments in the Philippine Cup eliminations. — JST, GMA News
