Alaska whips Magnolia anew in Game 4, ties series at 2-all

Alaska scored another masterful win against Magnolia, 90-76, in Game Four of their PBA Governors' Cup finals series on Wednesday at Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

With the victory, the Aces tied the series at 2-all, turning the best-of-seven affair into a virtual best-of-three. It is the second straight double-digit win for Alaska, which won Game Three handily, 100-71, last Sunday, after dropping the first two games of the series.

Best Import winner Mike Harris led the Aces with 34 points and 22 rebounds, winning his matchup with Magnolia counterpart Romeo Travis, who finished with 29 and 13.

Chris Banchero added 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists for Alaska, which held the Hotshots to a miserable 33 percent clip from the field.

Paul Lee, who won Best Player of the Conference honors before the game, finished with 14 points and eight rebounds for Magnolia. —JST, GMA News
