Chris Tiu retires: ‘It’s time to move on...#17 signing off’

On Twitter Tuesday morning, Chris Tiu sent out his thanks to everybody who’s been part of his basketball journey, saying “It’s now time to move on.”

"My heart is full. #17 signing off," he ended his short tweet.

The 33-year-old basketball star earlier hinted at his retirement plans when his contract with Rain or Shine Elasto Painters ends at the end of the season.

"I've had a lot of things to do outside of basketball and there are a lot of new things I want to learn and explore," Tiu said in November. — LA, GMA News
