Sacramento Kings' Harrison Barnes tests positive for COVID-19


Harrison Barnes of the Sacramento Kings is the latest professional basketball player who disclosed testing positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

"Prior to the team leaving last week, I tested positive for the COVID-19," Barnes posted on his Twitter account.

"I've been primarily asymptomatic and I'm doing well," he added.

 

 

Barnes added that he is under quarantine and following safety COVID-19 protocols until he is given a clean bill of health.

Earlier, Houston Rockets' Russell Westbrook disclosed that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Barnes, meanwhile, is hopeful that he would join his teammates in Orlando, Florida "when it is safe to do so."
