Terrence Romeo leaves PBA bubble after shoulder injury

San Miguel Beermen’s (SMB) Terrence Romeo heads home on Saturday after he was ruled out for the remainder of the PBA Philippine Cup in Pampanga.

In a report posted on the league’s website, Romeo was initially diagnosed with a dislocated right shoulder after a collision with TNT’s Ryan Reyes during the second quarter of their match on Friday.

“I talked to him (Romeo) last night and the doctor told him na six to eight weeks yung healing time,” said SMB head coach Leo Austria.

The Beermen will now continue their title defense campaign sans Romeo and reigning league Most Valuable Player Junemar Fajardo, who is also recovering from his shin injury.

San Miguel has yet to win inside the bubble and now holds a 1-2 card. Their only win was during the season’ s opener against Magnolia.
