Abueva, Mikey Williams, Bolick lead stats race for BPC plum
By JUSTIN KENNETH CARANDANG,GMA NewsMagnolia's Calvin Abueva, NorthPort's Robert Bolick, and TNT rookie Mikey Williams lead the statistical race for the Best Player of the Conference award at the end of the elimination round of the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup.
According to stats released by the PBA on Sunday, Abueva topped the list with 35.36 average statistical points (SPs), 16.1 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. Williams placed second with 35.30 average SPs on 18.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game, while Robert Bolick Jr. had 35.27 average SPs (18.1 ppg, 6.9 rpg, and 7.3 apg).
NorthPort's Jamie Malonzo and Ian Sangalang complete the top five of the stats race.

For the rookie race, aside from Williams and Malonzo, Alvin Pasaol of Meralco, Calvin Oftana of NLEX, and Leonard Santillan round up the top five freshmen of the conference.
Stanley Pringle won the BPC award in 2020.
