With a lot of hoops going on in and outside of the Philippines, one Filipina baller is set to begin her journey from thousands of miles away.

Jack Animam marks her debut today, October 2, as her European club Radnicki Kragujevac battles Proleter 023 at 2:30 p.m. (8:30 p.m. in Manila) at home at SBB Hall Lake.

This match would mark Animam's first taste of action in the First Women's Basketball League of Serbia since the announcement of her signing last August

.

Animam, a national team mainstay, is bringing with her the experience and learnings she gathered in both the local and international basketball scene.

She helped steer the National University to a six straight women's basketball title on the strength of an impressive 96-game winning streak in the UAAP.

The Bulacan native stretched that streak when she led Shih Hsin University copped an 18-0 win-loss record en route to a title in the University Basketball Association (UBA) championship in Taiwan.

She also tried her luck in the United States playing for the Zone 6 Celtics in an 86-16 beating of AEBL Elite in the Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League (AEBL) last June.

Animam has also won gold medals in both the five-on-five and 3x3 events in the Southeast Asian Games.

Her mettle, though, will be tested as Radnicki Kragujevac finished eighth among 12 teams in the previous season where it recorded a 7-15 win-loss card.
