No assassin, no problem for Blacklist's Wise

After completing their back-to-back championships with a dominant Game 5 win, the whole Blacklist International squad was visibly emotional in the post-game celebration but none more visible than a crying Danerie James “Wise.” Del Rosario.

Emotions were high and it was vindication once again for Wise.

"Napatunayan ko na naman sa sarili ko na kahit hindi ako nag-a-assassin, kaya ko mag-champion. Hindi lang isa, dalawa pa," he said.

Criticized by fans for a long time due to his "limited hero pool" and "only Marksman" picks, Wise has been subject to online clamor and, for a time, blamed for Onic Philippines' downfall in Season 5 where his Karrie caught a cyclone eye that lead to the crucial pickoff in the grand finals.

He stayed true to his comfort picks and even added Aldous in Season 7 followed by Bane in Season 8, both fighter heroes, that made Blacklist's draft even sturdier and hard to counter.

His performance with the Bane jungler in the grand finals was flawless and was even instrumental in their 17-0 kill rampage in Game 4 against Onic.
