No Kai Sotto in lineup for Adelaide 36ers' second game in NBL Blitz

There will be no Kai Sotto in the Adelaide 36ers' second game in the NBL Blitz, the league's preseason tournament.

Adelaide shared the update on its website Tuesday, hours before they face the Perth Wildcats.

The 10-man lineup of the 36ers will include Isaac Humphries, Cameron Bairstow, Sunday Dech, Tad Dufelmeier, Nick Marshall, Dusty Hannahs, Mojave King, Isaac Gattorna, Mitch McCarron, and Emmanuel Malou.

The team said it will continuously rotate its players during the tournament.

On Sunday, Sotto scored seven points in his NBL preseason debut and helped Adelaide win over the Cairns Taipans in overtime.

Sotto on April signed with the 36ers under the NBL’s Special Restricted Player provision, which allows him and other players from the Asian region to be considered as locals.
