TNT acquires Carl Bryan Cruz from Blackwater in exchange for Jay Washington, future picks

Carl Bryan Cruz has officially joined the TNT Tropang Giga.

The enigmatic forward has been traded by Blackwater to TNT in exchange for veteran Jay Washington and the Tropang Giga's second round picks in the 2022 and 2025 Rookie Draft.

The deal has already been approved by the league's trade committee on Friday.

Cruz' move to TNT was reported last week but with big man Chris Javier initially part of the transaction.

Cruz is now suiting up with his third team in the league getting selected by the Alaska Aces in 2016. He was traded to Blackwater back in 2019 in a one-on-one trade with Abu Tratter.

This has been the latest move in the Bossing's revamp since head coach Ariel Vanguardia took the reins from Nash Racela. Blackwater recently acquired Jvee Casio, Barkley Ebona, and Rashwan McCarthy in earlier trades.
