With Kai Sotto still out, Adelaide 36ers break New Zealand Breakers

The Adelaide 36ers notched another win after defeating the New Zealand Breakers, 98-85, on Sunday in the Australia National Basketball League (NBL).

The Breakers led for the majority of the game, even leading by 18 points near the halfway mark of the second period which ended with a 59-42 lead. However, the Sixers limited the Auckland-based team to just 26 points in the second half against their 56-point output to claim their second consecutive win.

Kai Sotto was still out from the game due to knee soreness. Dusty Hannahs had 25 points, while Daniel Johnson and Cameron Bairstow had 22 and 15 points each for the Adelaide win.

William Mcdowell-White listed 27 points, Hugo Benson added 25, and  Yannick Wetzell made 20 more in the NZ heartbreak.

Adelaide (2-2) will see action on Saturday against the Cairns Taipans.
