TNT Tropang Giga capped off the PBA games this year with a win over the Rain or Shine (ROS) Elasto Painters, 95-92, on Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum.

TNT, who is playing with their new import Aaron Fuller, detonated a 33-point explosion in the third quarter to pull away from the Elasto Painters and take the upper hand, 77-65, as they headed into the final frame.

Trailing by 12 with less than four minutes left, ROS import Henry Walker made five straight points to cut their deficit to a single digit. Rey Nambatac connected from downtown with 1:31 left, before Henry Walker drilled another to push the game to just a one-point difference.

Nambatac and Walker missed their next two shots before Beau Belga fouled JP Erram in the final moments of the game. Erram completed the charities which eventually sealed the win for TNT.

Mikey Williams dropped 25 points in the TNT escape on top of five rebounds and six assists. Fuller also delivered in his first game for TNT as he tallied 13 markers and 10 boards. RR Pogoy had 18 points for the Tropang Giga win.

Walker recorded a game-high 32 points while Javee Mocon had 13 points in the Rain or Shine loss.

Both TNT (2-2) and ROS (2-3) will be back in action in 2022 as the league takes a break for the new year festivities.

The PBA Governors' Cup resumes on January 5 featuring matches between Magnolia and Blackwater as well as Alaska and Meralco.
