Limitless claims Leg 5 title of PBA 3x3 second conference

The Limitless Appmasters claimed another PBA 3x3 tournament leg title after it reigned supreme in the second conference's fifth leg.

The Phoenix-affiliate defeated perennial contender TNT Tropang Giga, 22-19, in the finals played on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Jorey Napoles tallied half of Limitless' total output in the finals, while Brandon Rosser added five points. Reymar Caduyac added four, while Marvin Hayes added two points. Almond Vosotros tallied 11 points in the losing effort.

Platinum Karaoke eked out a win against Purefoods TJ Titans, 18-17, for third place.

Prior to the finals, Limitless beat Purefoods 21-9 in the semis, and San Miguel Beer 21-16 in the quarters. TNT, meanwhile, beat Platinum and Pioneer in the semis and quarters, respectively. The Sista Super Sealers and Meralco 3x3 completed the playoffs picture.

The title is Limitless' fourth overall leg trophy and the second for this conference after winning the third leg.
