Robbie Herndon is off to another club.

The 6-foot-3 cager was traded by newcomer Converge to San Miguel just a day after the FiberXers opened their campaign with a loss to Rain or Shine in the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup on Sunday.

In exchange for Herndon, Converge will get the Beermen's 2023 and 2024 second round draft picks. The deal was approved by the league on Monday.

Herndon will join a stacked SMB backcourt led by Marcio Lassiter, Von Pessumal, Chriss Ross, Terrence Romeo, and Paul Zamar. SMB is looking to rebuild following a title-less campaign in the past conferences.

Herndon previously saw action for Magnolia from 2017 to 2019 and Alaska franchise from 2019 to 2022.
