Kiefer Ravena to miss fifth window of FIBA World Cup qualifiers due to emergency dental procedure

Gilas Pilipinas will miss the services of veteran guard Kiefer Ravena as the team soon heads to the Middle East for the fifth window of the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

In an Instagram story on Monday, Ravena said he will miss the window after an emergency dental procedure.

"Won't be able to join the team this coming window but let's all support Gilas against Jordan and KSA," he wrote in his story.

Aside from Ravena, Carl Tamayo has also begged off from national team duties due to a nagging injury which will be rehabilitated.

The national team will fly to Jordan tonight ahead of their game set for midnight of November 11. They will also face Saudi Arabia on November 14.
