Converge trades Ilagan, Hill, Digregorio to Blackwater for Eboña, pick

Converge sent three players to Blackwater in a trade that will help the team prepare for the 47th PBA Governors’ Cup.

The FiberXers have agreed to ship the trio of RK Ilagan, Tyrus Hill, and Mike Digregorio to the Bossing in exchange for Barkley Eboña and a first round pick in the next rookie draft.

Ebona will join the Aldin Ayo-mentored club, which is coming off a quarterfinal exit in the ongoing Commissioner’s Cup. Kevin Racal, Jeron Teng, and Justin Arana make up the core.

Meanwhile, Ilagan, Hill, and Digregorio will boost a Bossing squad that had a dismal finish in their previous run after collecting just three wins to finish at 3-9.

The trade was approved by the league on Tuesday.
