Denok Miranda tapped as new FEU head coach

Denok Miranda will take over the Far Eastern University men's basketball program as he was appointed as head coach of the Tamaraws for Season 86.

The team made the announcement on Wednesday, weeks after it was announced that Olsen Racela parted ways with the team.

"Known as an elite defender and leader during his time, Coach Denok is expected to instill a defensive and winning mentality with the team," FEU said.

Joining Miranda is Johnny Abarrientos as team consultant.

Miranda, also a product of FEU, has been part of the Tamaraws' coaching staff and has been an MPBL head coach since 2018. He was also a two-time UAAP and PBA champion.
